The Gordon Parks Museum received the grant award of $4,380 from Fort Scott Area Community Foundation to help install Informational display story board signs for the historic Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church Commemorative Park that is located at 301 S. Lowman in Fort Scott. This is the same church that Gordon Parks and his family attended regularly. The church was condemned and torn down in 2001.
